Dr. Daniel Cohen
Dr. Cohen has proudly served the Mission Viejo community since 1987, providing personalized, comprehensive dental care rooted in compassion and precision. A graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Cohen continues to pursue advanced training in Oral Conscious Sedation, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics, Endodontics, and Implant Dentistry—ensuring every patient receives the latest in modern dental care.
Known for his gentle and patient-centered approach, Dr. Cohen takes the time to truly understand each individual’s needs, helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment. His dedication to excellence and genuine care for others have earned him the trust and loyalty of generations of families.
Front Office Manager Assistant
Toni Pistel
Toni is an integral part of our front office, ensuring every patient feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. She brings warmth, patience, and understanding to her role every day. Toni knows that visiting the dentist can make some patients feel anxious or nervous — which is why she always takes the time to smile, chat, and share a laugh to help put them at ease. Her friendly and compassionate nature helps create a comfortable, trusting environment for everyone who visits our office.
In her free time, Toni enjoys walks with her beloved Dachshund and finds joy in cooking and trying out new dishes.
Office Manager
Judy Cohen
Judy plays a vital role in keeping our office running smoothly and ensuring every patient’s experience is seamless from start to finish. With over a decade of dedication, she assists patients with questions about treatment, financing, and insurance while helping the team deliver organized and compassionate care every day.
Her approach to patient care centers on listening—understanding each patient’s concerns and finding efficient, thoughtful solutions to meet their needs. Judy takes pride in being part of an office that values personal connection and family-like care, not just efficiency.
Beyond the office, Judy has been deeply involved in the local community, serving as PTA President for John Malcom Elementary and Dana Hills High School, and volunteering over 100 hours each year supporting local school programs.
When she’s not at the office, Judy enjoys reading, walking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
DentaL Assistant
Jose Alberto Lescano
Jose is a dedicated dental assistant who takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. He’s passionate about patient relations and creating a positive, supportive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
Known for his smooth and caring approach, Jose enjoys building trust with patients and ensuring they feel at ease throughout their treatment. His warm demeanor and commitment to teamwork help make each day in the office run seamlessly.
Outside of work, Jose enjoys playing soccer, watching movies and series, and spending time with family and friends. He also loves finding new ways to learn and grow—both personally and professionally.
Dentist Assistant
Ana Katerine Dominguez
With over 25 years of experience in the dental field, Ana brings both skill and compassion to every patient interaction. She’s passionate about changing patients’ lives through great smiles and takes pride in helping them feel confident and cared for during their visits.
Ana describes her approach to patient care as respectful and caring—always taking the time to listen and ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment. Her dedication and gentle demeanor make her a trusted and valued member of our team.
Outside of work, Ana enjoys jogging, cycling, and spending quiet moments reading.
Hygienist
Edward Allen Baker
With over 24 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Edward brings expertise, care, and a genuine passion for connecting with patients. He believes in building lasting relationships and takes pride in helping each patient feel comfortable and understood during their visit.
Edward’s approach to care centers on truly listening to his patients—understanding their concerns and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and precision. His calm and personable nature helps create a welcoming experience for everyone who visits the office.
Outside of work, Edward enjoys surfing, skateboarding, spending time with his kids, and watching classic movies.
Hygienist
Elise Strain
Dental Hygienist for over 20 years. Worked in the dental field for over 30 years. Graduated top of her class at USC School of Dentistry in Dental Hygiene and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Craniofacial Biology from USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Certified in Laser Therapy, with extensive knowledge of oral-systemic links.
Provide high-quality care while building connections with my patients. My goal is to provide individualized care to each patient, ranging from overcoming dental anxiety to providing a relaxing experience.
Avid hiker, you can always ask her about her favorite trails, loves doing Pilates. Orange County native. Been on over 25 International Dental Missions.
